World Championship 2021 announced for 30. Oct. to 07. Nov. in Abu Dhabi

Ju-Jitsu International Federation plan the Come Back after the Corona Shut Down for November 2021.

The planning includes Adult, Youth (U16, U18, U21) and Master events.
The Organizing committee and JJIF board is ready to adapt on actual health standards
and on the JJNO participation, but the adult division is guaranteed to be conducted.

UAEJJF was conducting successfully the World Pro event in April. With 1500 competitors (app. 400 from outside UAE). A strict health protocol with 4000 PCR tests (there was no positive test on site) guaranteed the safety for all participants.

With this experience the Local Organizing Committee (UAEJJF) is ready to conduct the JJIF World Championship 2021.

UAEJJF confirmed that the financial conditions will kept the same as 2019. Additional cost for tests and PCR tests will be covered by organizer. (At the moment hotel prices are even clearly lower.)  For immigration we expect simplified procedure and UAEJJF will take care of the VISA process. At the current situation an arrival quarantine of maximal 48h could be in place (for vaccinated people there is a complete wave of quarantine from 1st July in place). Registration deadline MUST be respected to be able to organize and it is part of the requirements of UAE health authorities.

The electoral Congress of JJIF will be in conjunction with the World Championship 2021.
Applications and Proposals must be submitted until 01st September 2021.

    1. It is too early to answer that question. We need to finally decide with the health authorities before the event.
But we would be happy to have some audience and the fans of Ju-Jitsu in the sport hall
