Greek athletes offered their equipment to the Angola National Team

In a rare action that highlights the values of noble rivalry, athleticism and respect, the Greek athletes proceeded during the World Championship in Abu Dhabi. They offered their fighting equipment to the athletes of the Angolan National Team, who do not have the necessary equipment to take part safely in the games.

The delivery process of the materials from Greece to Angola took place at the Jiu Jitsu Arena, in the presence of the JJIF President Mr. Panagiotis Theodoropoulos, the JJIF Director General Mr. Joachim Thumfart, the HJJF President mrs Maria Charitopoulou, the HJJF Vice President Mr. Dimitris Bitsaxis, representatives of the Federation of Angola and Greek athletes.

JJIF with the support of UAEJJF and JJAU also contributed to the effort to strengthen the Angolan National Team with equipment by offering new GI.

The Greek athletes who donated their equipment, will receive from Hellenic Ju Jitsu Federation a new set of gloves-headbands HJJF approved.
