First Jiu-Jitsu (Ne-Waza) Grades world wide recognized by JJIF

During the 2021 World Championship, the Jiu Jitsu Grading System was officially launched.
In the presence of JJIF President, Mr Panagiotis Theodoropoulos, the JJIF General Secretary, Mr. Joachim Thumfart and the JJAU General Secretary, Mr. Fahad AlShamsi, the Jiu Jitsu head referee, Mr. Alexandre Nacimento has made a lecture, introducing the guidelines of the system to NF members and coaches present in the session.

The Grading System is a huge step to organize and standardize the system around the World. The book with all guidelines is already available for download in the website.
The next step for our organization is recognize and nominate the Local Style Representatives in each nation/region . This key person will be responsible to make the things happen inside the local federations.
During the event, some black belt who participated in the process to developing the system, had their belts recognized by JJIF and received their belt diplomas.

Jiu-Jitsu (Ne-Waza) got recognized as international approved style of JJIF. Under the guidance of Alexandre Nascimento the JJIF grading commission recommended to include the Belt Program of Jiu-Jitsu (often called BJJ) in the list of official styles so the athletes can achieve world wide approved grades!

The huge amount of elements had to be structured according to the JJIF Recognition guidelines.
Elements of self defense were specifically identified as JJIF ask for the connection to the Ju-Jitsu origin as art of Self Protection in every style.
