The use of some medications is prohibited in sport. If you’re an athlete and you get sick or injured or you need regular treatment for an ongoing condition, you need to check whether your medication is allowed to be used in sport.
Athletes and support personnel can check medications on GlobalDRO to find out whether the most commonly prescribed and over-the-counter medicines are permitted or prohibited in their sport.
If your medication is Prohibited, you’ll need to apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption [Link to JJIF TUE WEBSITE]
